These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the HomeHero mobile application and related services. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility
You must meet the minimum age stated in the final published Terms (commonly 13+ or 18+ depending on features such as the contractor marketplace). Confirm age requirements with counsel.
2. Accounts
You are responsible for accurate account information and for keeping your credentials secure. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
3. License
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app for your own household DIY purposes, subject to these Terms.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the service, including uploading unlawful content, harassing others, attempting to disrupt the service, or using AI / marketplace features in ways that violate law or these Terms.
5. User content and AI
You retain ownership of content you submit (including photos and messages). You grant us a license to host, process, and display that content as needed to operate the app, including sending prompts, images, and related context to AI providers (such as Google Gemini).
DIY and AI guidance is not professional advice. Repair, lawn care, and related suggestions may be incomplete or incorrect and can involve risk of injury or property damage. You are solely responsible for how you use any guidance. Follow manufacturer instructions, local codes, and licensed professionals when appropriate.
6. Subscriptions and purchases
Premium features and token packs are sold through Apple App Store and Google Play via RevenueCat. Billing, renewal, and refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their terms. Cancel subscriptions in your store account settings. Auto-renewal details will appear on the paywall at purchase.
7. Contractor marketplace
If you use Find a Pro / job posts, we provide a platform only. We are not a party to agreements between homeowners and contractors, do not employ contractors, and do not guarantee work quality, licensing, insurance, or outcomes. Exercise your own judgment when hiring.
8. Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided “as is” without warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law. Our liability is limited as will be set out in the final counsel-approved Terms (including caps, exclusions for consequential damages, and governing law / dispute resolution).
9. Changes and termination
We may update these Terms by posting a new version at this URL. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance where permitted by law. We may suspend or end access for violations or to shut down the service.
